Indian PM Modi expected to visit Nepal again
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is expected to visit Nepal again in the month of November.
Indian PM Modi's state visit to Nepal will take place in the last week of November, according to ANI, the South Asian multimedia news agency.
"Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be coming to Nepal again at the end of November. The probable date for his visit isĀ November 28-29. However, there might be some changes in the dates," a high-level official from the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu was quoted as saying in ANI.
Prior to this, Indian PM Modi had visited Nepal for the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) Summit in August 2018.
During his next visit, PM Modi is expected to attend various high-level meetings and carry out official engagements. In addition, he is also expected to visit Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, according to the news agency.
