DAMAK: A man was killed in an attack by a wild elephant in Jhapa district today.

Jaya Narayan Adhikari (61) from Garamani VDC-4, who had gone to graze his cattle in the forest, was attacked by a wild elephant and he died on the spot, the District Police Office, Jhapa stated.

The body has been sent to the BHadrapur-based Mechi Zonal Hospital for autopsy.
