BHIMDATTANAGAR: Chief of Belauri Land Revenue Office, Kanchanpur, Bhoj Bahadur Aidi has been arrested for allegedly raping a woman.

According to the Area Police Office, Belauri, Aidi was arrested after a local woman accused Aidi of raping her.

Chief of Area Police Office, Belauri, Police Inspector Rana Bahadur Chand said, "We have arrested Aidi for investigation and preliminary investigation into the case is underway." Chand said no complaint has been filed against Aidi yet and added that they have also arrested the woman for the investigation into the case.
