NARAYANGADH: Nepali Congress central member Khum Bahadur Khadka said on Friday that there is a necessity for the formation of a youth squad for Tarun Dal, a youth wing of the party for the nation.

Speaking at a press conference organised by the Nepal Press Union in Narayangadh, Khadka said

that the UCPN-Maoist has forgotten the 12-point agreement and is trying to impose its policy in the name of national independence. He criticised NC president GP Koirala accusing him of failing to realise the true intentions of the Maoists.

Khadka is on a nationwide tour as a part of the preparations for the party's upcoming general convention. However, he did not mention the post he intends to contest. He said the NC is lagging behind because of its own weaknesses and that he was ready to take responsibility for it.
