LAMJUNG: The Lamjung District Court convicted a teenager of raping a five-year-old girl and sentenced him to 10 years in prison for the heinous crime.

District Judge Arjun Adhikari issued the verdict in the rape case. Besides the jail term, the convict, Bimal Raj Adhikari (19) of Sundarbazaar, has been told to provide of Rs 20,000 to provide the victim, according to Registrar at the Court Hari Gopal Gyawali.

Adhikari was arrested on May 9, 2016.
