CHARIKOT: A person died and four others were injured in a dry landslide at Sipringkhola Hydropower Project site in Gaurishankar VDC-9 of Dolakha district this afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Hem Bahadur Shrestha of Bulung-9, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ajay KC.

The injured are Dhandhoj Tamang of Lamabagar VDC-9, Laxman Tamang of Lamabagar VDC-7, Surya Magar of Khare VDC-9 and Kshitz Musalman of India.

Similarly, an employee at the project, Sharmila Acharya of Orang VDC-7, has gone missing in the landslides.

The landslide has also damaged the project site.
