Mist is likely to occur during the morning hours in some parts of the Tarai region today.
Similarly, the weather is expected to remain generally cloudy in the mountainous regions and partly cloudy in the hilly regions of the country. The Tarai region will experience mainly fair weather.
According to the 24-hour forecast issued at 8:00 am today by the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at a few places in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Bagmati provinces, as well as at one or two locations in the hilly and mountainous regions of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Tonight, hazy conditions are likely to persist in some parts of the Tarai region. The weather will remain partly cloudy in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while the rest of the country is expected to witness mainly fair conditions.
There is also a chance of light rain and snowfall at one or two places in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
Meanwhile, the Division's meteorological analysis indicates that the country is currently under the partial influence of westerly winds.
