The westerly low-pressure system currently exerts a partial influence over the country, the Weather Forecasting Division stated.
Fog and mist are prevailing in some areas of the Terai region during the morning. The Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are expected to be generally cloudy, the division added.
This afternoon, the Himalayan regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, as well as the hilly regions, will experience partly cloudy conditions, while the remaining Terai region is expected to remain mainly fair.
There is a possibility of light rain or snowfall at one or two locations in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
Tonight, hazy conditions are likely in a few areas of the Terai region. The Koshi Province and the Himalayan regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces will be partly cloudy, while the weather in the remaining regions is expected to remain mainly fair.
