BHOJPUR: A girl died after being struck by lightning at Bhotechhap in Khadananda Municipality-2 of Bhojpur district on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Muna Bhattarai (20).

According to police, Muna was in her house when the lighting struck at 2:00 pm yesterday, killing her on the spot.

Similarly, the lightning also killed a cow inside a cowshed belonging to local Kulman Rai in Salpa Silichho Rural Municipality.

Likewise, as many as 10 chickens were killed by the lightning that struck the poultry farm belonging to Sujan Katawal in Kulung, informed police.
