Damak, March 13:
The Sanghiya Limbuwan Rajyaparisad (SLR) today accused the major political parties — Unified Maoist, NC, UML, RPP, Rastriya Janashakti Party and Rastriya Janamukti Party — of working against the sentiments of the Limbuwans.
The second national conference of SLR that was held in Phidim had made its views on different political parties.
Talking to this daily, SLR chairman Kumar Linden accused the parties of not being able to establish the rights of the Limbus. He said the Maoists had included only five districts in the proposed Limbuwan state.
The SLR has been demanding inclusion of nine districts in the Limbuwan state. They include Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Dhankuta, Sankhuwasabha, Terhathum, Taplejung, Panchthar and Ilam.
