LPG company sells cylinders after threats

Lalitpur, April 17:

The Baba Gas Company Pvt Ltd at Gwarko today sold some 700 LPG cylinders following threats from agitators.

An employee of the company, Rajesh Bharati, said they had to sell the filled cylinders directly from the office because it was not safe to keep them following the threats. Accountant Bishnu Gyawali said the company has some 400 depots that sell LPG throughout the valley. “We opened the office just today after the general strike keeping in view the difficulties faced by the public,” he said, adding that the company would also sell the remaining 200 cylinders in stock tomorrow morning.
