Lumbini Zonal Hospital to get blood purification equipment
BUTWAL: The Rotary Club of Butwal has planned to give more emphasis on education and health sectors in the days ahead.
Chairman of the Club Puran Prasad Shrestha said that blood purification equipment would be brought into operation in the Lumbini Zonal Hospital soon by considering the problems kidney patients facing in the region.
Shrestha also said that efforts were taken to import equipment for scientific management of garbage produced from the hospital.
Likewise, the Club said that scholarships to the journalists studying journalism, poor and talent students, distribution of educational materials, running health camps, distribution of wheel chair, community service centre, polio plus programme and some other previous programmes would be given continuity.
The Club is running projects with special emphasis on six different sectors including peace and conflict management, disease control and cure, drinking water and sanitation, education and literacy, and economic enabling of community.
