Minister for Information and Communications Krishna Bahadur Mahara said here today that Nepali journalists have always fought against status quo.

Speaking at the inaugural function of the first district convention of the Revolutionary Journalists’ Association, Sankhuwasabha, he appealed to the journalists to play a progressive role. He urged journalists to disseminate news in an impartial manner. President of the Sankhusabha chapter of the FNJ Matrika Timsena shed light on difficulties facing journalists. The new leadership of the association was elected under the chairmanship of Kamala Sharma.
