MYAGDI: The Myagdi District Court has convicted a man of raping his 12-year-old daughter, and sentenced him to 18 years in jail.

A bench of judge Ram Prasad Sharma on Thursday issued the verdict in the case of incestual rape.

After the verdict, the convict was sent to the District Prison.

The man was arrested by police on charge of the heinous crime on May 11.
