Man robbed after forced chloroform intoxication

KATHMANDU: A man has been robbed of his cash and a gold ring on Wednesday.

According to a complaint lodged with police, Bhim Bahadur Gaha (44), who was travelling in a taxi to Kalanki, was made unconscious by a driver and an unidentified person who was also in the same taxi by using chloroform and robbed of his Rs 10,000 in cash and two gold rings weighing 1.5 tola

Gaha is a permanent resident of Putali Bazaar Municipality-8, Syangja and currently residing at Gongabu, KMC-29.

Later, they left him in an unconscious state at the road side of Tripureshwor.

Police said they are searching for the absconding suspects.
