Maoist cadres seized a motorcycle belonging to a Nepali Congress activist from the Phidim Bazaar on Thursday. The Maoist cadres led by Bazaar in-charge Madan seized the motorcycle belonging to Dikendra Chemjong. The Maoists took the motorcycle from the main road of the Phidim bazaar, Chemjong said, adding he didn’t have any personal differences or contact with the Maoists. Maoist in-charge Madan, however, claimed that they had to seize Chemjong’s motorcycle, as he is yet to pay some amount of cash to the party as per a prior agreement.
