HETAUDA: Police arrested a person with three quintal marijuana from Ramantar of Manahari Rural Municipality in Makawanpur on Tuesday.

The arrested has been identified as Prahlad Bahadur Thakuri, 38, of Jitpur Simara sub-metropolis, Bara.

Acting on a tip-off provided by Illegal Drugs Control Bureau, Kathmandu, the youth was held with 295 kg marijuana.

Thakuri hid the illegal stuff in the water tanker that he was driving.
