RAUTAHAT:

A woman drowned along with her two children in Sangrampur VDC-5 of Rautahat district on Sunday night after a family conflict. The Garuda area police office said Fakhre Alam’s wife Shamsa Khatun, 27, tied her 7-year-old daughter Gulshan and 5-year-old son Heyabuddin around her waist and jumped into a pond. The villagers, who started a search for her and the children, found the bodies of the three floating on the pond on Monday morning. The bodies have been sent to Gaur hospital, said inspector Man Bahadur Chaudhari.
