Ramechhap Municipality organised a programme to felicitate the newly elected representatives of the Federation of Nepali Journalists in Ramechhap today.

Mayor Nar Bahadur Thapa chaired the programme.

The newly elected panel was welcomed with pen, diary and shawl.

Mayor Thapa, Deputy Mayor Srijana Khadka and Chief Administrative Officer Ram Chandra Lamgade jointly welcomed the new FNJ committee.

Mayor Thapa said he was happy to welcome the FNJ members as they were elected through democratic system for the first time in the district. He said that the municipality wanted cooperation from the FNJ members for development of the nation and the district.

Deputy mayor Khadka said that the municipality wanted to connect with mediapersons for development.

Chief Administrative Officer Lamgade also welcomed the FNJ members.

Newly elected FNJ Chairman Badri Nayaghare and National Assembly member and former district chairman Tika Prasad Bhatta said that a good culture had started after welcoming the newly elected FNJ members.

Treasurer Ramesh Dhungel of Bagmati Province, member Gyanu Shrestha, Ramechhap Municipality Administrative Officer Hom Bahadur Gurung, among others, were also present at the programme.
