'Mystic Nepal' underway in Kuala Lumpur
KATHMANDU: A three-day art exhibition entitled ' Mystic Nepal', aimed to promote Nepal-Malaysia economic diplomacy is underway in Kuala-Lumpur, the Capital city of Malaysia.
The event organised by the Nepali Embassy there and supported by the Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal has showcased 25 stalls relating to Nepali products, the Embassy said.
Arrangements have been made for sale of goods in the expo. Handicraft items, organic tea and coffee, paintings, garments, ornaments and pashmina products are available in the event.
Inaugurating the expo, Nepal's Ambassador to Malaysia, Niranjanman Singh Basnyat said they were all dedicated to promoting Nepal's art, culture and products in Malaysia. Such types of programmes in other cities of Malaysia are forthcoming, according to him.
Chiefs of diplomatic missions in Kuala Lumpur, other officials, high ranking officials of the Malaysian government, business people and media persons were present in the inaugural session.
