Nawalpur's Devchuli declared children-friendly municipality

NAWALPUR: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali reiterated that the government is moving ahead with the spirit of 'Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali' so that it would yield dividends to 30 million Nepali people in the future.

Minister Gyawali said so while declaring Nawalpur's Devchuli as children-friendly municipality, first in Gandaki Province and second to Sunwal Municipality in Nawalparasi.

Nepal Communist Party (NCP) leader Gyawali said, "After 70-years of struggle, the nation was declared a federal republic from Constituent Assembly. Now, the country is moving ahead on a progressive path."

He also shared that it was a golden opportunity to focus on developmental goals and take ownership of federalism for building a better furture of Nepal.

Minister Gyawali further said the government was not showing arrogance about the two-thirds majority and was moving ahead by taking the opposition in confidence for attaining developmental goals.

He also asserted that the government is committed to take the nation to new heights with new ideas and positivity as it has peoples' mandate.

On the occasion, District Coordination Committee Chief Ches Ram Ale Magar handed over a bronze-notice to Minister Gyawali for declaring Devchuli as children-friendly municipality.
