NC on course to pick leader of opposition

Kathmandu, November 30:

The Nepali Congress is holding its parliamentary party meeting tomorrow to finalise its statue.

The statute finalised by the parliamentary party will be approved by the NC central committee.

The statute will pave way for the election of the party’s leader in the Constituent Assembly and legislature parliament.

The statue has also created a post of ‘deputy leader’ of the parliamentary party.

“The parliamentary party is working on naming its representatives to the CA committees,” said NC Chief Whip Laxman Ghimire.

The newly passed CA schedule requires all the parties to submit their names for committees by mid-December.
