NC to hold its general convention on March 3-6
KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress has decided to hold its general convention on March 3-6, 2016.
A meeting of the Central Working Committee (CWC) held this morning made the decision to this effect.
The meeting also discussed candidate for PM, ongoing fuel crisis and obstructions at border points.
Now, the largest political party will hold conventions of its ward, village and municipal committees on January 29.
Likewise, the constituency committee conventions and district committee conventions will be held on February 5 and 8 respectively.
Meanwhile, the meeting urged the government to take diplomatic initiatives to solve the ongoing shortage of daily essentials including petroleum products.
The meeting will continue tomorrow as well.
