KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 25
Nepal recorded 673 new coronavirus infections in last 24 hours, pushing the nationwide tally to 809,729, while the death toll climbed to 11,361 with 13 fatalities today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 788,008 with 501 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 10,864 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 8,284 were PCR tests while 2,580 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 4,376,796 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests have confirmed 103 positive cases in the past 24 hours. The total number of single-day infections from both the RT-PCR and antigen tests totals to 776.
Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 97.3 %, while the fatality rate stands at 1.4%.
The country's active Covid-19 case count currently is 10,360.
Currently, there are 219 individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
On Sunday, Nepal had recorded 522 coronavirus cases while three more had succumbed to the disease during the same period.
