BARDIYA: A staffer of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) was electrocuted while fixing a transformer in Bardiya on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Ram Bahadur Chaudhary (31) of Ganeshpur in western Patabhar–2, police informed.

Chaudhary was severely injured when he received the electric shock.

He died on the way to the Rajapur Hospital, said to Superintendent of Police Bharat Bahadur Bohara of the Bardiya District Police Office.
