KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 12

The Nepali Army has reported further progress in its ongoing nationwide security operations.

According to the Army's latest update, a resident of Marin-4, Sindhuli, voluntarily handed over a 9 mm Chinese pistol to an army patrol team deployed in Dallu, Kathmandu.

With this latest handover, the Army stated that the total number of weapons recovered from various locations across the country has reached 268 firearms.

The Army has urged the public to continue cooperating by surrendering any unauthorized weapons to help maintain peace and security.
