KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 12

The Nepali Army has appealed to citizens to ignore misleading or false information circulating about the force amid the current national situation.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Defense and the Nepali Army, the army stressed that it has been regularly sharing its official positions and activities through press releases, press notes, and its verified social media accounts. The public is therefore urged to rely only on these official communication channels for accurate updates.

The army reiterated that it will continue to provide timely, transparent information and encouraged everyone to help maintain calm and avoid spreading unverified messages that could create confusion or tension.
