DAMAULI: Nepali Congress, Tanahun, on Thursday took out a protest rally against the government decision to scrap National Respiratory Disease Centre named after Girija Prasad Koirala at Jharauta of Suklagandaki Municipality, Tanahun. NC cadres and leaders carrying placards and banners shouted slogans.

The rally that started from party office had made a  round of Damauli bazaar. NC and civil society have been protesting ever since the government removed the hospital’s name from  the list of hospitals to be run by the federal government.
