NC president Deuba confident of full majority in federal parliament election

DHANGADHI: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has claimed that the Nepali Congress party would garner full majority in the House of Representatives election.

The first phase of election was held on November 26 while the second/final phase is taking place on December 7.

Speaking at a press meet organised by Nepal Press Union at the Dhangadhi Airport today, Deuba urged the people not to doubt about the party's competency of winning the majority in the election.

He said, "People have been further enthused by the election, our majority is certain, so vote for the NC confidently," he said condemning the bomb blasts by anarchic element in different parts of the country targeting the elections. The Prime Minister said, "The government will not be perturbed by such incidents."

Guilty of carrying out bomb explosions in some parts have been already arrested and the government would not let such anarchic elements walk free, he said, urging voters to confidently take part in the elections. He pledged free and fair election.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to address an election assembly in Achham and Doti today itself.
