The Nepali Congress is on course to get more than 50 first-past-the-post parliamentary seats as it has already won 44 seats and was leading in 10 constituencies till 8:00pm today.
The main opposition party, CPN-UML, has won 34 FPTP parliamentary seats and was leading in 10 constituencies.
UML has won 34 parliamentary constituencies The CPN-Maoist Centre has won 14 HoR seats and was leading in five constituencies; the Rastriya Swatantra Party has won seven seats and was leading in one constituency; the Rastriya Prajatantra Party has won five seats and was leading in two constituencies; the CPN (US) has won 10 seats; the Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal has won three seats and is leading in three constituencies; and the Nagarik Unmukti Party and the Democratic Socialist Party-Nepal have won three seats each. Others were leading in eight constituencies.
As far as provincial assembly vote-count is concerned, the CPN-UML was leading in Province 1, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim; the NC is ahead in Madhes and Bagmati; and the CPN-Maoist Centre is ahead in Karnali.
