Nepali worker drowns in Persian Gulf
DAMAK: A Nepali worker drowned while swimming in the Persian Gulf Sea in Dubai of the United Arab Emirates on February 26.
The deceased has been identified as Bhupendra Bhandari (30) of Keradhap, Topgachhi-7 in Jhapa district. Bhandari had been working in Dubai as a foreign employee.
The family of the deceased was informed of the fatal accident after 13 days on Thursday, according to Bhuwan Bhandari, the elder brother of the victim.
The bereaved Bhandari family has been waiting to receive the body of the deceased. The body is set to arrive in Nepal on March 14.
