New govt will use science, technology for development: Oli

Bhadrapur, December 11

CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli today said the new government would utilise science and technology for the development and prosperity of the country.

Oli, who has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Jhapa-5, said this while addressing the victory rally organised at a local stadium by the CPN-UML, CPN-MC and Rastriya Prajatantra Party.

Saying that his party as well as the left alliance would always be committed to democratic practice, Oli said that the new government would ensure peace and security as wished by the people.

He assured participation of the people in local governance.

Similarly, newly elected member of the House of Representatives from Jhapa-1, Surendra Kumar Karki, said the trend of overseas employment would be decreased by running industries in the country.

Likewise, Rajendra Kumar Lingden, newly elected member from Rastriya Prajatantra Party to the House of Representatives from Jhapa-3, said he would always be honest towards the people. Lingdel. RPP had forged electoral alliance with UML in Jhapa.
