Newly elected Kaski leaders stress development

Pokhara Chambers of Commerce and Industries today felicitated the newly elected members of the Provincial Assembly and Parliament from Kaski.
A total of nine leaders, including three of parliamentary and six of provincial constituencies, were felicitated. Eight candidates were elected from the left alliance and one from the Nepali Congress in Kaski.
Former minister and UML leader Khaga Raj Adhikari, who won the parliamentary election from Kaski-1, said prosperity and development would be the major agendas of the country.
He underscored the need of cooperation from the private sector and entrepreneurs to develop Province 4 and make it a prosperous province. He stressed on proper utilisation of available local resources for this purpose.
Newly elected UML leader member of Parliament from constituency No 2 Krishna Thapa said no stone would be left unturned in developing Pokhara as an international city.
NC leader Bindu Thapa, who won the provincial election from Constituency No 2 ‘kha’ said that they would contribute to develop Pokhara as a tourism hub and other places too as Province 4 had abundant prospects of tourism development.
He stressed on creating conducive atmosphere for Indian and Chinese investors to invest in various industries, hydro-power and tourism.
