KAVRE: Senior leader of CPN-UML KP Oli on Monday said that it was not possible to merge the People Liberation Army (PLA) into the Nepal Army (NA).

Speaking at a programme in Dhulikhel Oli said that PLA should be rehabilitated in the society according to their capacity and interest. If Maoist PLA were merged into the NA different outfits in the country would also demand their space in the Nepal Army, added Oli. He also said that the war they fought could not be called the people's war. He further said that Maoists’ malicious interest of seizing the state power would never be fulfilled at any cost.
