Oli to visit India in Nov, discuss peace, economy

Likely to meet PM Singh

New Delhi, October 12:

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs KP Sharma Oli will leave on a five-day official visit to India on November 5, a source in New Delhi said today.

The visit will focus on issues like the peace process in Nepal, economy, water resources and diplomatic relations between the two countries, the source said. The Foreign Ministry in Nepal will make public the schedule of Oli’s official visit soon, the source said, adding that the agenda of his visit is also being worked out.

Oli is expected to meet senior ministers, high-ranking officials, including Indian Prime Minister Dr Man Mohan Singh. This will be his first visit to India after his appointment as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs.
