SINDHULI: A local Ananta Dahal

has constructed a Shiva temple in memory of his late father Madhav Prasad at Jharlangtar of Bhimsthan VDC-6 of Sindhuli district. The temple was constructed at a cost of

Rs 35,000 with the voluntary labour service of the people. Local elderly priest Modnath Ghimire inaugurated the temple. — RSS

BAJURA: Lack of district court judge has affected judicial service in the district from the past one and a half years. One Dhanjite Thapa is being kept in custody for the past 19 months for his alleged involvement in a rape and there is no district court judge to decide on his case. The court is vacant after the then district judge Ganesh Panjiyar left the district in December 2005. Some 24 cases have been awaiting decision. — RSS
