BARDIYA: Maoist suspects looted the Gulariya-based branch of Agricultural Development Bank on Tuesday afternoon. Seven Maoists overpowered the security guards by brandishing pistols at 4 pm and looted Rs 60, 000, eyewitnesses said. — HNS

Two airlifted for treatment:

POKHARA: Two CPN-UML cadres, injured in a Maoist attack, have been airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment, on Tuesday. The CPN-UML’s ex-Syangja district vice chairman Ram Bahadur Thapa, 55, and Tanahun district member, Hom Bahadur Thapa, were flown to TU Teaching Hospital. — HNS
