Injured trader dies

BIRGUNJ: One of the two businessmen, who were shot separately by criminal gangs on Tuesday evening, died in course of treatment on Thursday morning. Manoj Harlalka, a resident of Adarshanagar in Birgunj Sub-metropolitan city-13, succumbed to injuries at TU Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu. Two traders have been killed in the last five days in Birgunj. According to Inspector Bhuwaneshwor Shah, another injured Raju Shah is receiving medical care. 2 killed in bus mishap

CHITWAN: Two persons were killed and as many injured when a passenger bus heading to Kathmandu from Janakpur hit two motorcycles on the Narayangadh-Mugling road section on Thursday. According to District Police Office Chitwan, the deceased have been identified as Sanjaya Thapa of Darechowk, Chitwan and Sunil Rana of Manakamana, Gorkha. Among the injured, condition of Arun Khanal of Ratnagar-3 is reportedly critical while Rabin Paudel of Ratnanagar-8 sustained minor injuries. The duo is undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Medical College. — HNS
