TAULIHAWA: A man was killed when a tractor he was travelling on overturned in Kapilvastu Municipality-9 of Kapilvastu district last night.

The deceased has been identified as Shyam Yadav (40) of Kushma in the municipality.

The incident occurred when the tractor (Lu 3 Ta 5216) overturned killing Yadav at Kushma on Tuesday night.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rabi Rawal at Kapilvastu District Police Office said that the vehicle involved in the accident has been impounded.

Meanwhile, police are looking for the tractor driver who fled the scene immediately after the incident.
