RAJBIRAJ: Police arrested a man in possession of pharmaceutical drugs at Madhupatti-9 of Saptari district on Wednesday.

The suspect has been identified as Uddhav Tamang (24) of Triyuga Municipality-2 of Udayapur district.

Police said that they have confiscated eight pieces each of Diazepam, Phenargone and Lupigesic from his possession.

SP Dan Bahadur Karki said that Tamang was nabbed during a regular security check.

Tamang has been kept at the District Police Office, Saptari for investigation, Karki added.
