Over Rs 1.2 lakh recovered from kidnappers

The police said today they have recovered Rs 128,770 from two youths Kebal Rai alias Rakesh and Sher Bahadur Limbu who were arrested yesterday for their part in the kidnapping of a teenager boy.

The police has also recovered a motorcycle, a cellphone, pager, a suitcase and a radio set. However, the pistol used in the kidnapping, has not yet been recovered. DSP Yogendra Bahadur Katuwal said search was on to nab the four persons including the prime suspect in the case. The abductors had taken a huge ransom of Rs 10 million from jeweller Ser Man Chongwang (Limbu) to set free his son Rajan Limbu whom they had kidnapped on January 22.
