RAUTAHAT, AUGUST 10

Sashatra Seema Bal have arrested a Pakistani woman while she was entering India via Bhithhamod border point from Mahottari headquarters Jaleswor today.

SSB personnel deployed along the border with Nepal had taken the woman under control while she was entering India. During investigation, SSB found the woman to be from Pakistan. The arrested is Khajida Nur, 25. She is suspected to have connection with Dawat-e-Islami Organisation based in Pakistan.

Nur had reached Dubai from Pakistan on a flight on August 6. On the same day, Nur had boarded a plane and landed in Kathmandu. On the night of August 6, she had reached Siraha on a night bus. Jivan Kumar Sah of Kalyanpur Municipality had received Nur on the morning of August 7. She was kept in the local hotel that night. Nur reached Mahottari's Jaleswor on August 8.

At Jaleswor, Nur met with Saiyad Mohammad, who had made India's aadhar card for Nur. Saiyad had taken Nur to India.

SSB personnel had interrogated Nur after they suspected her. SSB had nabbed the Nepali youth as well when he tried to escape from the border point.

Nur has her tickets to return to Dubai on September 4 and from Dubai to Pakistan on the same day. This has fuelled suspicion.

Keeping in view the escalating activities of Dawat-e-Islami Organisation in India, SSB personnel have tightened security in India.

SSB arrested Nur, Saiyad and one more Nepali youth who had followed Nur and Saiyad. An investigation has been launched into the incident, said SSB source.
