Panchdhare area becoming tourist hub

Panchdhare area has become a new destination for tourists on the border of Byas Municipality and Myagde Rural Municipality in Tanahun.
The area, which is recognised as a religious and tourist spot, has become a tourist destination of late. People reached Panchdhare for picnic and other programmes.
A local social worker Bed Kumar Shrestha said mother’s groups, child clubs, schools, community forest consumers group and government employees, among others, reached the spot for entertainment and picnics.
Panchdhare Conservation Committee Chairman Kajiman Shrestha said physical infrastructure was being constructed to attract domestic tourists. Shrestha said the number of domestic tourists was increasing after proper management of the new temple, pati pauwa, pond and garden, among others, in the vicinity.
Sera Bhupu Group Chair Babulal Kumal said Panchdhare had the potential to attract people. He said internal tourists would increase in the area if promotional activities were organised.
Chair Maya Devi Rana of Myagde Rural Municipality said budget had been released to make Panchdhare area a religious and tourist destination. She encouraged locals to open hotels and other businesses to promote the area.
