Various committees have been formed in Kaski and Syangja districts to mark the birthday of late king Tribhuvan and the 55th National Democracy Day, which falls on February 18. A Democracy Day committee has been formed under Kaski LDO.

There are plans to celebrate the occasion for three days beginning from Friday. In Syangja, too, a committee to mark the day has been formed under the chairmanship of social activist Suryabhakta Khanal. At the initiation of the Syangja Chambers of Commerce, cleaning of Putali Bazaar area will be undertaken tomorrow.
