Woman dies in Jhapa road mishap
JHAPA: A pedestrian was killed in a road mishap in Mechinagar Municipality in Jhapa district along the East-West Highway on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Maiya Malaha (43) of Mechinagar Municipality-3.
According to the District Police Office, Jhapa, the incident took place when a motorcycle (Me 2 Pa 2979) hit her while walking.
The police have arrested the motorcyclist and impounded the two-wheeler for the further investigation.
