DHANGADHI: Police have recovered two pistols and a magazine from Gadariya VDC-8 of Kailali district on Monday.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team deployed from the Far-Western Regional Police Office, Dipayal, recovered the weapons concealed in a sack from a pond near the house of Prakash Chaudhary, DSP Bishwo Raj Khadka informed.

Police said that they are looking into the case.

Meanwhile, a group of four to five unidentified persons riding on two motorbikes set ablaze a bus (Se 1 Kha 1017) at Beli Jungle of Manehara-7 in Dhangadhi Municipality.

The bus was heading towards Beli from Dhangadhi when the incident occurred.

Police said that the miscreants fled towards a jungle in Jugeda after the arson.
