DHANGADHI, FEBRUARY 24
Bhim Rawal, the Sudurpaschim in-charge of the Dahal-Nepal faction of Nepal Communist Party (NCP), has said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli should self-criticise his act of dissolving House and apologise to the people.
Addressing a press meet organised at Dhangadhi on Wednesday, leader Rawal said that the party will react positively to PM Oli only if he apologises to the people for his unconstitutional act of dissolving HoR.
"KP Sharma Oli should personally apologise to the nation for dissolving the parliament." Rawal said while adding that "If he resigns from the post of Prime Minister on moral grounds and asks for forgiveness from NCP, then only can the party become positive towards him".
The HoR will move ahead with the Supreme Court's order to call the meeting of Huse within 13 days, Rawal added.
"The priority right now is to protect democracy rather than the formation of a new government," he added.
