LAMJUNG: Electricity supply in Lamjung district would be disrupted  from today, following the extension of transmission line.

The 33 KB transmission line, which connects Udipur and Damauli would  be completely shut for eight hours.

"The power supply will be closed from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for two days," informed the Lamjung Nepal Electricity Authority.

Dipak Dahal, Branch Head of Nepal Electricity Authority in Lamjung, "The extension of 132 KB transmission line, which operates from the middle Marsyangdi to lower Marsyangdi and connects tower 2 and tower 1, will remain shut."

Dahal further added, "Besides Lamjung, the power outage will also affect the locals of Baisjangar, Manechauka, Rupakotal of Tanahun district.
