CHITWAN, NOVEMBER 25

Preparations for the 10th National General Convention of the CPN-UML are almost complete. The general convention is scheduled to be held from November 26 to 28 in Chitwan.

Chief at publicity department Yogesh Bhattarai said that welcome stations in different places, stage management for the inaugural session and close session, among other arrangements were completed.

Speaking at a press conference organised by Press Chautari Chitwan Chapter in Chitwan today, Bhattarai said that stage management, selfie points, construction of rhino mascot among other preparations for the national general convention have been completed. He added that the district was decorated with flags and welcome doors in more than 50 places.

Speaking at the press meet, Bhattarai said that millions of people including party leaders and cadres from across the country would attend the inaugural session and preparations were completed for the same. "We will be back from the general convention with the commitment that the UML will be in majority in all three levels and this is the message of the general convention," he added.

Bhattarai said that his party would be established as one and only party of the communist revolution in the country.

The inaugural session of the general convention will be held on the banks of Narayangadh-based Narayani River while the close session will be held in Sauraha.
