PM Oli back to New York from Costa Rica, to return home tomorrow
NEW YORK: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has arrived in New York today on his way back home after completing his three-day official visit to Costa Rica.
At the invitation of President Carlos Alvarado Quesada, PM Oli had embarked on the visit to Costa Rica leading a Nepali delegation.
Prime Minister Oli had arrived in Costa Rica on September 30, after successfully leading Nepal to the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly in New York. During his stay there, the Prime Minister held bilateral talks with President Quesada while also addressing an event held at the UN University for Peace in San José.
The Prime Minister has been accompanied by his spouse Radhika Shakya, Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Nepali Ambassador to the US Arjun Kumar Karki, Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi, and Chief of Protocol Dipak Adhikari, among others.
PM Oli is scheduled to return home via Qatar on Thursday.
The PM on Monday held official talks with Costa Rican President Alvarado Quesada in San José.
